2. The One Fixed Cost Everyone Pays
Leaving the Island by car across Confederation Bridge carries a toll of $20 CAD one-way for a standard 2-axle vehicle. The toll is collected only when leaving PEI; driving onto the Island is free. The Wood Islands ferry to Nova Scotia charges a comparable fare but runs on a seasonal schedule only, not year-round.
