Summer Camps in PEI: What to Book Early
Popular PEI summer camp weeks fill within days of registration opening, and francophone families have discount programs worth knowing about. Here is what's actually available and when to book.

2. Registration Opens Well Before July
Most providers open registration in spring, often March through May, for camps running through July and August. Souris PEI's municipal camp, for example, opens registration in May with capacity capped at 25 children per day and a strict registration deadline the Thursday before each camp week; once a day fills, registration for that week closes outright.
3. Francophone Families Have a Specific Discount
STEAM PEI partners with Canadian Parents for French, Carrefour de l'Isle-Saint-Jean, La Belle Alliance, and Le Conseil Rev. S.-E.-Perrey to offer discounts on French-track camps, aimed at keeping francophone and immersion students practising French over the summer. Ask directly about eligibility if your child is in French Immersion or CSLF.
4. What a Full Season of French Immersion Camp Costs
As a reference point, Petite Ecole's French-language day camp runs two four-week sessions across the summer:
